Working Meeting Held in Shymkent with Representatives of LLP "Kazakhstan M-Gas"

A working meeting with representatives of LLP "Kazakhstan M-Gas" took place, during which the implementation of the "Reduction of Greenhouse Gas Emissions at the Landfill" project was discussed.

During the meeting, the parties examined the main directions of the project aimed at reducing greenhouse gas emissions resulting from waste decomposition at the solid waste landfill, along with prospects for its implementation.

One of the main focuses of the project is the collection and utilization of landfill gas, which contains a significant amount of methane. The implementation of the project will reduce the volume of methane released into the atmosphere and lessen the landfill's negative environmental impact.

Additionally, the potential use of the produced biogas as an energy resource for generating electricity and heat is being considered. Thus, the project will not only help reduce greenhouse gas emissions but also ensure the efficient use of the energetic potential of waste.
