Deputy Minister of Industry and Construction Holds Meeting with Residents and Businesses in Kostanay Region

In the Kostanay region, Deputy Minister of Industry and Construction of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Darkhan Myrzabayev, held a meeting with residents and representatives of the business community in the area. During the meeting, the results and future plans for the digital transformation of subsoil use, geology, construction, housing and public utilities, and industry were presented.

Opening the meeting, the Deputy Minister emphasized that the Head of State has set the goal of transforming Kazakhstan into a digital nation. As part of the declared Year of Digitalization and Artificial Intelligence, the Ministry is systematically working to implement modern technologies in supervised sectors. The main aim of this effort is to improve the quality of public services, create favorable conditions for business, ensure process transparency, and enhance production efficiency.

In the fields of construction and urban planning, efforts are underway to develop an end-to-end digital process—from territory planning and design to construction and operation of facilities. To achieve this, the development of the state urban planning cadaster, BIM design technologies, and tools for automated project documentation review are being advanced. Preliminary estimates suggest that these solutions could reduce the time needed to review a single project from 16 to 9 hours, lessen routine work, and improve the quality of decision-making.

The implementation of digital projects and the introduction of modern technologies are intended to provide additional conditions for the further development of the region's industrial potential, enhance the competitiveness of domestic enterprises, and improve the quality of public and communal services for the population.
