Public Hearings on 2025 Results Begin in Kazakhstan
Public hearings on the 2025 results of natural monopolies in Kazakhstan have begun, fostering transparency and allowing citizen participation.
In accordance with the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan 'On Natural Monopolies', public hearings have commenced where entities classified as natural monopolies will present their reports on the outcomes of the year 2025.
These reports are being conducted in the form of public hearings to ensure transparency and accountability of the entities' operations, as well as to facilitate dialogue with the public.
The Committee for the Regulation of Natural Monopolies of the Ministry of National Economy of the Republic of Kazakhstan and its regional departments have announced the start of these public reports by the natural monopoly entities. Schedules for these reports can be found in the 'Regional News' section on the official website of the Committee and on the Facebook pages of the regional departments, taking into account regional affiliation.
Public hearings offer consumers the opportunity to obtain information on the actual use of tariff funds, gain insight into the progress of investment programs, ask questions, and receive explanations.
Transparency and accountability remain fundamental principles in the regulation of natural monopolies. Active citizen participation influences the quality of services provided and the effectiveness of the entities involved.
The Committee urges consumers and interested parties to actively participate in the public reports of natural monopolies for the 2025 results, contributing to the openness and development of tariff policies, as well as improving the utility infrastructure.
