Astana Hosts Cleanup Event Organized by Y. Rakhmadiev Philharmonic

The staff of the Y. Rakhmadiev Philharmonic organized a large-scale cleanup event in Astana in support of the national ecological initiative 'Clean Kazakhstan' and World Cleanup Day.

Approximately 400 people participated in the event, which combined care for nature with hard work. Among the volunteers were the leadership and employees of the Astana Department of Culture, the philharmonic staff, as well as renowned Kazakhstani artists and creative teams.

The initiative involved clearing the surrounding areas of the philharmonic, parks, and squares of litter, along with landscaping and sanitation efforts. Artists, who usually captivate audiences with their performances, this time took up brooms and bags to contribute to the city's cleanliness.

"A cultural hub should not only inspire but also set an example of respectful treatment of the environment. Today's event was a true celebration of labor, uniting artists, management, and all staff. The coordinated efforts of about 400 of our colleagues is a vivid expression of love for our city," noted Erkeghali Rakhmadieva, a member of the philharmonic.

Such initiatives aimed at enhancing the capital's ecological culture will continue in the future.
