Increased Oversight on Compliance with Beautification Rules in Almaty
Almaty enforces beautification rules with 8,972 passports registered and significant fines issued for non-compliance.

Almaty continues its efforts to enforce the city's Beautification Rules. Since the beginning of the year, legal entities have registered 8,972 beautification passports, surpassing planned targets. This was announced by the Department of Municipal Infrastructure and Housing Inspection.
This document confirms the assignment of responsibility for maintaining adjacent areas.
In the first half of the year, specialists issued nearly 5,000 verbal warnings and compiled 9,679 administrative materials under Article 505 of the Code of Administrative Offenses. The total fines imposed amounted to 111.9 million tenge.
Following the resumption of the passport campaign at the Mayor's directive, an additional 672 beautification passports were issued. During this period, 547 administrative materials were compiled, with fines exceeding 12.7 million tenge.
According to the department, this initiative aims to increase the accountability of property owners and maintain order within the city.
