In Shymkent, the digitization of heat networks is underway: in-pipe diagnostics using artificial intelligence

In Shymkent, the implementation of measures for the digitization of heat networks continues. Within this framework, a technology for in-pipe diagnostics has been introduced, allowing for the assessment of the technical condition of main heat networks with high accuracy.

The system, utilizing artificial intelligence technologies, detects hidden defects in pipelines, plans repair works based on their actual technical condition, and effectively allocates financial resources. This contributes to enhancing the reliability of engineering infrastructure, preventing emergency situations, and ensuring residents receive quality and uninterrupted heat supply.

Currently, diagnostics of main heat networks with a total length of 5 kilometers are being conducted at seven sections of the city. This initiative is being implemented as part of the fulfillment of the President's instructions on the development of digitization and artificial intelligence technologies aimed at improving the efficiency of managing Shymkent's engineering infrastructure.
