Ministry of Energy Concludes ENERFORT 2026 Cyber Drills
The Ministry of Energy concludes ENERFORT 2026 cyber drills aimed at enhancing the cyber resilience of the energy sector.
The Ministry of Energy has concluded the first industry-specific cyber drills, ENERFORT 2026, aimed at protecting the technological systems of the fuel and energy complex facilities.
Over two days, more than 120 specialists from the energy sector enhanced their skills to counter modern cyber threats. The teams that placed first, second, and third were awarded diplomas based on the results of the drills.
"For the Ministry of Energy, ENERFORT marks the beginning of systematic work to assess the competencies of specialists, improve their training, and develop a modern system of cyber resilience for energy facilities. The results of the drills should serve as a foundation for enhancing the security of energy infrastructure and developing unified industry approaches," noted Deputy Minister of Energy Bakytzhan Ilyas, according to the statement.
