536 km of Power Lines Undergo Major Overhaul in Mangystau
Major overhaul of 536 km of power lines completed in Mangystau region for the heating season.
In the Mangystau region, a major overhaul of 536 km of power lines has been completed as part of the preparation of energy infrastructure for the upcoming heating season.
The plan for 2026 included a major overhaul of 536 km of power lines. As of today, the work has been fully completed, covering the entire 536 km, which represents 100% completion.
Additionally, two substations have undergone major repairs, along with 77 distribution points, transformer substations, and complete transformer substations.
The preparation of the region's energy infrastructure for the heating season is ongoing. For the year 2026, 11.4 km of heating networks are scheduled for repair. To date, 8.96 km have been repaired, achieving 78% completion.
At regional power stations, major repairs of three boiler units have been finalized. Work continues on one boiler and three turbines.
The repair campaign's progress is under constant supervision by the territorial department of the Committee for State Energy Supervision and Control of the Ministry of Energy in the Mangystau region.
