Smart Gas Meter Installation Underway in Kyzylorda

The company QazaqGaz Aimaq has initiated the Aqyl Energy project, aimed at gradually replacing conventional gas meters with new smart meters. This initiative is focused on enhancing the safety of gas usage and simplifying the metering system.

According to the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan 'On Gas and Gas Supply', the replacement of gas meters for residential consumers is carried out free of charge. All costs related to acquisition, installation, maintenance, and mandatory verification of the new meters are covered by QazaqGaz Aimaq.

Attention Residents:

• Replacing the gas meter takes approximately 30 minutes;
• The old meter will be returned to its owner;
• An agreement regarding the responsibility for the new meter is signed;
• Welding work might be necessary if required;
• Please ensure the specialists have clear access to the meter site.
