In Karaganda, issues of digital transformation in the construction industry are being discussed
An international conference in Karaganda focused on digital transformation in the construction industry, featuring experts from various countries discussing innovative technologies.

An international scientific-practical conference dedicated to the 70th anniversary of Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor Jumaguly Nuguzhinov was held in Karaganda. Scientists, engineers, experts, and representatives of the construction industry from Kazakhstan, Russia, the United Kingdom, South Korea, Poland, Belarus, the USA, and other countries participated in the event.
During the conference, issues of the digitalization of the construction industry, the implementation of BIM modeling, the use of artificial intelligence technologies, the development of digital twin systems, seismic-resistant construction, and the application of modern engineering solutions were discussed. Participants also considered proposals to strengthen cooperation between science and production and exchanged international experiences.
The conference was attended by Bakytzhan Junisbekov, Chairman of the Committee for Construction and Housing and Communal Services of the Ministry of Industry and Construction of the Republic of Kazakhstan, who emphasized the importance of digitalization in the construction industry and the implementation of innovative technologies.
In the plenary session, the Akim of Karaganda region, Yermangbet Bulekpaev, highlighted the importance of the relationship between science and technology: "The head of state has repeatedly emphasized that Kazakhstan's competitiveness directly depends on strong science, modern technologies, and the training of a new generation of engineering personnel. Such meetings prove that our science is moving in the right direction. Today, digital technologies, artificial intelligence, and new design methods have been widely adopted," the statement said.
According to the organizers, such international platforms contribute to the unification of science, education, and construction practice, as well as allow for the development of modern engineering solutions and the preparation of a new generation of specialists.
