Eco Almaty LLP has launched educational videos on air quality and environmental protection in Almaty.
Eco Almaty LLP has launched a series of short educational video clips as part of an informational campaign on Almaty’s Air Quality Protection Rules.
These videos present information in a simple format about air quality, major pollution sources, environmental requirements, proper waste management, and everyday actions that help reduce environmental impact.
Some episodes are dedicated to low emission zones (LEZ), vehicle emissions, and other measures outlined in the Air Quality Protection Rules.

Over 3,000 Buses in Almaty Undergo Emissions Testing
Over 3,000 buses in Almaty tested for emissions, revealing that 45.7% did not meet environmental standards.
Since the beginning of 2026, more than 3,000 emission tests have been conducted on buses in Almaty's depots, according to LLP 'Eco Almaty'.
A total of 3,108 buses were examined. The monitoring results revealed that 1,420 of these vehicles, or approximately 45.7%, did not meet the established environmental standards. The City's Department of Ecology is taking appropriate measures regarding the detected violations.
