Accessible Transport Services Ensured for People with Disabilities on Election Day in Almaty
Accessible transport services will be available for people with disabilities on election day in Almaty, including the 'Invataxi' service.
In Almaty, on August 23, the day of the elections to the Kurultai deputies, transport support will be provided for persons with disabilities and those with reduced mobility.
For citizens experiencing mobility challenges, the Almaty city administration will offer the 'Invataxi' service. This service will be available for individuals with disabilities who use wheelchairs and have musculoskeletal disorders, as well as for those with visual impairments.
On election day, 170 'Invataxi' vehicles will be deployed, including 36 specially equipped vehicles and 134 passenger cars.
