Increased Oversight on Construction Firms in Almaty: Licenses Revoked for Four Companies, Operations Suspended for 350
Four construction companies in Almaty have had their licenses revoked, and 350 others have had their operations suspended as part of increased regulatory measures.
Systematic efforts to regulate the construction market in Almaty continue. Following an order from the Akim of Almaty, Darkhan Satybaldy, control measures have resulted in four construction companies having their licenses revoked, while the licenses of 350 companies have been temporarily suspended. Actions have been taken against 437 entities within the construction sector.
Special attention has been given to contractors involved in constructing social infrastructure.
The state license for Category I design has been revoked for LLP 'SK BEST Spec Story KZ'. Licenses were also withdrawn from LLP 'Otau-Qurmet' and LLP 'KazNIISA', and a specific type of license was revoked from LLP 'Saulet Qurylis Konsaltingi'.
The Urban Planning Control Department emphasized that only companies able to verify their qualifications, adhere to established regulations, and ensure proper construction quality will be permitted to operate in Almaty.
It is noteworthy that last year, eight construction companies, most involved in social infrastructure projects, lost their licenses due to violations.
