Major infrastructure projects continue to unfold in the 'Western Gate' and 'Eastern Gate' centers in Almaty, aiming to equip emerging city districts with roads, utility networks, and communal infrastructure.

This was announced during a briefing by Almaty's Head of Construction Administration, Nurbol Nursagatov, at the Regional Communication Service platform.

In the Alatau district, within the area bounded by Bauyrzhan Momyshuly, Monke Bi, Fariza Ongarsynova streets, and Ryskulov Avenue, there is ongoing construction of 25.5 kilometers of new roads over a 298-hectare area.

Simultaneously, a large-scale upgrade of engineering infrastructure is underway. The project includes the reconstruction of the 'Algabas' and 'Akbulak' substations, modernization of 'Algabas' and 'Akkent' boiler rooms, reconstruction of the 'Trudovik' sewage pumping station, as well as the construction of main heat, water, and power supply networks.

The works are being carried out in stages. The construction of heating networks is expected to be completed by the end of August, the main water supply and sewage networks by the beginning of October, and the main power supply facilities by mid-October.

Equally extensive work is underway in the eastern part of the city. As of the end of July, over 40% of the work on the water supply networks is completed, approximately one-third of the sewage and power supply work is done, and the readiness of gas supply facilities already exceeds 70%. In addition, the installation of communication networks and the construction of roads continue.

Zhastar Park was chosen deliberately for this ecological day. It is one of the most popular public spaces where city residents and visitors relax daily. Due to high foot traffic, such areas require regular maintenance and cleanliness. Hosting the campaign here not only improved the park's current condition but also drew public attention to the importance of maintaining cleanliness in places of mass leisure.

"Caring for our hometown is an indicator of our civic maturity. The 'Taza Kazakhstan' campaign unites the most conscientious people," noted the event organizers.

The presence of the 'Jasyl El' labor group added a special atmosphere to the event. For the young people, it's not just a summer job but an opportunity to contribute personally to the beautification of their homeland. They cleared littered lawns, spruced up footpaths, and demonstrated high levels of organization.

They were joined by maslikhat deputies and professional ecologists. They noted that such initiatives are crucial in fostering ecological responsibility. According to experts, the campaign helps form a sustainable habit of caring for the environment. In the long term, such initiatives help strengthen ecological culture, increase civic engagement, and make participation in similar events a good tradition for all city residents.

Ecology Day Taza Qazaqstan in Zhastar Park concluded with a wrap-up: the collected waste was promptly removed, and the park's green avenues shone with cleanliness and upkeep. Participants emphasized that the cleanliness of our hometown begins with each of us.
