Third Ecopark 'Serkesay' Opens in Zhetisu Region
The third ecopark 'Serkesay' has opened in Zhetisu region, enhancing tourism and outdoor activities in Tekeli.

The third ecopark 'Serkesay' has been inaugurated in the Zhetisu region as part of the 'Clean Kazakhstan' program and on the President's directive. This opening in Tekeli marks a significant event for the area, fostering tourism development and promoting outdoor activities.
The event drew local residents, guests from Tekeli, business representatives, craftsmen, and athletes.
During the event, Deputy Akim of the region Marlen Kolbaev remarked:
"Under the President's directive, three ecoparks have been opened in the Zhetisu region: 'Koitas' in Sarkansky district, 'Tasbaka' in Taldykorgan, and 'Serkesay' in Tekeli. With the Akim's support, all parks are equipped with the essential infrastructure for comfortable recreation. We will continue to work on their development. In 'Serkesay', we plan to create areas for independent leisure, install lighting, surveillance cameras, and provide internet access. Our goal is for everyone to enjoy a pleasant and comfortable stay here. However, it's important to remember: the cleanliness and preservation of the ecopark depend on each of us. Please do not leave trash after your visit, and treat plants and natural landmarks with care. Let's preserve these beautiful spots for our children and future generations," the statement says.
As part of the opening program, there was an exhibition of local producers, 'Born from Nature', where visitors could explore beekeeping products, herbal cosmetics, national jewelry, and taste Tekeli gingerbread. Another exhibition, 'World of Art', allowed attendees to appreciate the talents of young artists and musical performances.
