Governor Beibit Isabayev Inspects Construction Progress in Saryozek, Zhetisu Region

Infrastructure improvements are underway in rural areas of the Zhetisu region, specifically in the village of Saryozek. Regional governor Beibit Isabayev has reviewed ongoing construction projects related to road repairs, water supply enhancement, relocation of residents from unsafe housing to new homes, and the modernization of the district hospital.

During his working visit to the Kerbulak district, Beibit Isabayev observed the construction progress of a new five-story building with 60 apartments dedicated to relocating residents from unsafe homes. Construction began in March and has reached 80% completion. The building is expected to be completed by fall.

Deputy district governor Bakytkeldi Kabidoldy reported that in 2024, a new 60-apartment building was acquired, and approximately 100 families have already relocated. Another 60-apartment building is set to open soon.

The governor emphasized the importance of monitoring the pace and quality of construction works, instructing the installation of ramps for people with limited mobility.

Additionally, the bypass road of the republican highway in Saryozek was inspected, where the major repairs of a seven-kilometer section have been completed. Director of the regional branch of JSC "NC KazAvtoZhol" Zhasulan Kaltaev reported on completed works, including bridge construction and lighting pole installation.

Regarding water supply issues, the regional department head of energy and housing and communal services Aidos Beketayev stated that the fifth stage of the water supply system reconstruction in Saryozek is being implemented, covering 110 kilometers. The project includes the construction of 1,298 wells and the installation of 257 fire hydrants, ensuring water supply to 2,932 subscribers. During the third stage, 351 out of 869 subscribers have been connected.

Beibit Isabayev highlighted the necessity of continuing work at a rapid pace and ensuring quality completion, as well as the importance of monitoring fund utilization and schedule adherence to resolve water supply issues in Saryozek.

The regional governor also visited Kerbulak district hospital, where reconstruction and seismic strengthening works are underway. Asphalt paving and sewage modernization are nearing completion, with the project 97% ready. The proposal to renovate the hospital's dining facility was also supported.

At the conclusion of his visit, Beibit Isabayev instructed the leadership of responsible organizations to monitor timely work completion and landscaping.
