Nine More Settlements in Jetisu Connected to Natural Gas
Nine settlements in Jetisu, Kazakhstan, gain access to natural gas, improving life for 6,000 residents.

Kazakhstan's Ministry of Energy continues to expand citizens' access to natural gas, following the President's directives to increase the country's gasification rate.
Today, natural gas has become available to residents of nine more settlements in the Kerbulak district of Jetisu: Baigazy, Tastybastau, Altynemel, Akbastau, Dolanaly, Zhanalyk, Jainak Batyr, Shagan, and Tastyozek.
This connection has provided access to approximately 6,000 people living in 1,390 homes. Consequently, the total number of gasified settlements in the district has now reached 22.
The gasification project in the Kerbulak district has been implemented in stages since 2022 and is one of the largest infrastructure projects in Jetisu. In total, approximately 500 kilometers of gas networks are planned to be constructed across 25 settlements in the district.
As of today, the level of gasification in the Jetisu region stands at 67.2% — with natural gas available in 110 settlements. Upon the completion of ongoing gasification projects, this number is expected to rise to 126, making natural gas accessible to more than 500,000 residents in the region.
