Educational and Medical Facilities in Jetisu Fully Ready for Heating Season

The Jetisu region is actively preparing for the upcoming heating season. Currently, educational and medical facilities are 100% ready, while multi-apartment residential buildings are 98% prepared, according to the press service of the Jetisu region akim.

As part of the preparation for the new heating season, the region is undergoing repair and modernization of heating systems, preparation of engineering networks, creation of necessary fuel reserves, and ensuring the readiness of residential buildings and social facilities.

According to the regional Department of Energy and Housing and Communal Services, repairs are being conducted on two turbines and 15 boilers in the region. A total of 6.9 km out of the planned 10.4 km of heating networks has been restored. Work on the planned 55.6 km of water supply networks has been fully completed. Repairs are also underway on 558 km of electrical networks and 52 transformer substations.

The National project provides for the modernization of 4.9 km of heating networks in Taldykorgan. In addition, new heating facilities are being constructed in the city. For instance, in the Southwest residential area, the construction of a district boiler house with a capacity of 49 Gcal/h continues. Heating networks are also under construction, with completion aimed for October this year.

"Simultaneously, in Taldykorgan and Tekeli, gas turbine stations with a total capacity of 118 Gcal/hour are being gradually introduced with the support of private investments. Moreover, these projects will introduce 137 MW of electrical power," stated Aidos Beketayev, head of the regional Department of Energy and Housing and Communal Services.

One of the key preparation areas is creating a sufficient fuel reserve.

Heating service providers are preparing 6.4 thousand tons of fuel oil and 300 thousand tons of coal, with 100% procurement completed. For budget organizations, 15.1 thousand tons of coal and 10.2 million liters of liquid fuel have been purchased. To date, 50.3 thousand tons of coal have been supplied to the population.

"Particular attention is paid to the preparation of multi-apartment residential buildings and social facilities. Out of 1,703 multi-apartment residential buildings, 1,676 have been prepared, which constitutes 98%. Out of 1,294 budgetary facilities, all 609 educational and 360 medical facilities are fully ready," noted A. Beketayev.

Overall, the preparation for the upcoming heating season in the Jetisu region continues according to the approved schedule and remains under constant supervision by regional management. All necessary measures are being taken to ensure a stable and uninterrupted heating season.
