In Taldykorgan, the exterior appearance of residential buildings is being improved: facades of 24 and roofs of 33 houses will be renovated

In Taldykorgan, the implementation of a project to improve the external appearance of the urban environment continues. This year, repairs are planned for the facades of 24 multi-storey buildings and roofs of 33 houses on Zhansugurova Street.

The akim of the region, Beibit Isabaev, familiarized himself with the progress of the work being carried out. In recent years, measures have been taken in Taldykorgan to enhance the appearance of the residential housing stock, primarily in the old neighborhoods. Since the formation of the region, the roofs of 80 multi-storey buildings and the facades of 30 houses have been updated.

During the inspection of the facilities on Zhansugurova Street, the akim of the region emphasized the importance of the quality and timeliness of the work. The executive director of the contracting organization, Kairat Imangabulov, reported that the company is renovating the facades of six apartment buildings with 40 to 60 percent of the planned work completed. Additionally, a representative of the contracting organization, Saktasyn Nukerbekov, who is responsible for roof renovations, informed about the progress of roof repairs for 4 houses.

The akim of the region pointed out the necessity of designing business facilities in accordance with a unified design code, and the city akimat is conducting explanatory work on this issue.

During the inspection, residents of house number 80/84 approached Beibit Isabaev, noting that for the first time in 55 years, renovations are being carried out in their building.

Moreover, the akim of the region assessed the progress of the reconstruction of main heating networks on Zhansugurova Street, where the replacement of 3.5 km of main networks is planned. The reconstruction will be divided into two phases, the first of which has already been completed.

The akim of the region also highlighted that work is underway in the city to switch to natural gas with the construction of a gas turbine station. This is expected to improve the environmental situation.

As a result of all the work carried out, Zhansugurova Street will acquire a new look, and thanks to a systematic approach, all issues will be completed this year. Work will continue next year in other parts of the city.

The Jetisu region is among the leaders in implementing the national project "Modernization of the Energy and Utility Sector," with a total investment of about 79 billion tenge planned for 2026-2027, which will allow the renovation of 1156.2 km of engineering networks and the installation of 83.6 thousand metering devices. A decrease in the level of wear of engineering infrastructure by 19% is expected.
