Kazakhstan's Energy Minister Congratulates National Team on Winning International Electrician Competition in Shymkent

The Minister of Energy congratulated the Kazakh team for their victory at the international electrician competition held in Ankara.

We are proud of our energy specialists! The Kazakhstan team claimed victory at the international electrician competition among Turkic countries!

Heartfelt congratulations to the team of Kazakh energy experts for their triumph at the international professional skill contest "Best Distribution Power Grid Team 2026" in Ankara, the minister stated.

This extensive competition featured top specialists from Turkey, Azerbaijan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Hungary, Turkmenistan, and Kazakhstan. In this intense battle, our energy professionals demonstrated the absolute superiority of our local expertise, securing the top spot on the podium.

The team was assembled by the Ministry of Energy from seasoned specialists at LLP "Ontustik Zharyk Transit" (Shymkent, part of the "Kazakhstan Utility Systems" group) and LLP "Energosistema" (Aktobe region). This union of experience, teamwork, and strict discipline awarded our country the top prize.

This result is particularly significant in terms of progress: last year, our team took third place, worked on their mistakes, and today emerged as the undisputed leader. At the challenging TEDAŞ training ground in Turkey, Kazakh specialists showcased impeccable technique, speed, and flawless compliance with safety standards while performing hazardous electrical system tasks.

In 2027, Kazakhstan will host this prestigious industry competition next. We look forward to welcoming the energy specialists of the Turkic world to our spiritual capital, the city of Turkestan.

I express deep gratitude to every team member, mentors, and leaders of "Ontustik Zharyk Transit" and "Energosistema" for their brilliant victory and the high prestige they've brought to Kazakh energy on the international stage! I wish you good health, accident-free work, and new professional heights!

Yrlan Akkenzhenov,

Minister of Energy of the Republic of Kazakhstan
