In the Zhetysu region, the problem of emergency housing continues to be addressed.

From 2022 to 2024, 18 houses with 119 apartments were identified in Taldykorgan. As of today, 118 apartments have been issued. Among them, there are 17 families who received keys to their new homes today, reports the press service of the Akim of Zhentysu region.

The new housing was provided to families in the cottage town "Berekete", as well as in the neighborhoods "Zhashtar-1/1" and "Zhashtar-3". The Akim of Taldykorgan, Ernat Bazil, congratulated the residents on their long-awaited move.

Addressing the new homeowners, the city Akim emphasized that providing residents with comfortable and safe housing remains one of the priority areas of state policy, outlined by the Head of State, and is under special control of the regional leadership.

Among the happy new homeowners is 81-year-old Zhanatai Sugurbayeva, who lived in an emergency house for more than 20 years. Upon receiving the keys to her new apartment, she could not hold back her emotions and expressed words of blessing-bata, wishing the country peace and prosperity, and a prosperous future for the youth.

Another resident, Natalia Drozdova, also shared her joy. She noted that in recent years, it has been particularly noticeable how their city is transforming: "In recent years, it has been especially noticeable how our Taldykorgan is transforming. The city is developing, becoming more beautiful and cozy. We are immensely happy, as we lived in an emergency house for 40 years. At first, the conditions were tolerable, but for the last ten years, it became increasingly difficult to live there. Now we have our own safe housing. Huge thanks to everyone who helps take care of the residents!" - said Natalia Mikhailovna.
