Major Socio-Economic Development Projects Discussed in Kyzylorda

The year has passed its midpoint, and in Kyzylorda, significant projects have been launched to boost the region's socio-economic development. Initiatives aimed at improving the quality of life for the people are already showing results, yet important tasks still lie ahead for the region.

The regional Akim Murat Yergesbayev shared insights into the tasks and initiatives of the region during an interview with the chief editors of the provincial newspapers "Syr Boyi" and "Kyzylordinskiye Vesti."

The sites of cities like Chirik-Rabat, Zhankent, Syganak, Altynasar, and Barshinkent on this land attest to the presence of a developed urban civilization in ancient Kazakh territories. Kyzylorda can be considered the rightful continuation of these renowned cities. This city holds particular historical significance," said Murat Yergesbayev.

The head of the region noted that the pride of the region lies with those who make real efforts towards its development. He also reminded of the enactment of the new Constitution of the Republic of Kazakhstan, which sets the course for the country's further development. The President has signed a decree to hold the upcoming elections for the Kurultay on August 23, and in Yergesbayev's opinion, the residents of Syr should actively participate in this political campaign.

In the energy sector, plans are underway to construct a 1.1 GW combined cycle power plant in cooperation with "Samruk-Energo" and "UCC Holding" from Qatar, alongside the commencement of construction for a high-tech sanitary ware manufacturing plant in partnership with the Spanish company "Roca group."

Moreover, the unified educational program "Adal Azamat" is creating conditions in modern society to foster noble qualities in the youth.
