In Kostanay Region, the technical launch of two wind power plants with a total capacity of 100 MW took place.

In June of this year, the technical launch of two wind power plants took place in Kostanay Region – LLP "Mars Wind" with a capacity of 50 MW and LLP "Jupiter Wind" with a capacity of 50 MW. The total installed capacity of the facilities is 100 MW.

The planned annual electricity generation is 380 million kWh. The implementation of the project will increase the volume of electricity production, enhance the reliability of power supply in the region, and contribute to achieving goals in the development of green energy. The project will also support the strengthening of the region's energy security, attract investments, create new jobs, and reduce environmental impact.

As of today, successful commissioning works and comprehensive testing of the equipment necessary for the subsequent commissioning of the wind power plants into industrial operation have been completed in accordance with established procedures.

Technical specifications of the wind power plants:

Total investment: 35.8 billion tenge

Jobs during construction: 150 people

Number of wind turbines: 16 units.
