Kerbulak District in Zhetisu Region Prepares Documents for Gasification of Six More Villages
Kerbulak District prepares documents to gasify six more villages, enhancing gas supply for 31,000 residents.

Kerbulak District in Zhetisu Region has prepared the necessary documents to gasify an additional six villages in response to residents' requests. Gas supply is already fully available in all 26 settlements needing gasification, with a main gas pipeline constructed to the village of Kogaly, located 80 kilometers from the village of Saryozek, bringing gas to 21 villages. However, the percentage of residents connected to the gas remains low.
During a meeting with residents, the regional head, Beibut Isabayev, instructed the district governor to expedite the process of connecting subscribers to the gas supply.
"I instruct to prepare the necessary technical documentation for connecting residential houses to natural gas, to accelerate the connection efforts, and to strengthen efforts to supply gas to social facilities. I also note that at the request of district residents, project and estimate documentation has been prepared for the gasification of six settlements not included in the regional gasification plan. These are the villages of Sarybastau, Karashoky, Arkarly, Samen, Shilisu, Malaisary. To begin construction work next year, a proposal has been submitted to the republican budget. As a result, by 2028, 32 settlements in the district will have access to natural gas, benefiting 31,000 residents," stated B. Isabayev.

In addition, to prevent future gas shortages in the region, project and estimate documentation for the construction of a second branch (loop) of the main gas pipeline from the Kazbek station in Almaty Region to Saryozek has been developed.
"This year, gas was brought to our home. Previously, we prepared coal and firewood and had to clear out ash. It was a lot of work. Now, you just turn it on if it's cold, turn it off if it's warm, and the house is always warm and clean. I encourage my fellow villagers to get connected to gas; it brings not only warmth but also convenience and comfort," shared Ayiman Iskakkyzy, a resident of the village of Saryozek.
