Renovation of Housing Stock Continues in Astana

The renovation project for the housing stock in Astana is ongoing as part of the Housing and Communal Infrastructure Development Concept for 2023–2029.

The State Institution 'Department of Housing and Housing Inspection of Astana City' monitors the demolition of emergency buildings.

During a site visit, an inspection was conducted at a location in the Baikonyr district at 66/2 Abai Avenue, following the demolition of a residential building. The contracting organization received guidance on meeting established requirements, the order of performance, and proper site maintenance.

It is important to note that a residential building is deemed hazardous based on technical assessments. If a building shows more than 61% physical depreciation, the issue of declaring it hazardous is submitted to the Astana City Akimat's commission on the housing stock renovation project.

Work on the renovation project and oversight of the operations continues.
