In Astana, in celebration of Knowledge Day, an open meeting was held with students at Akzhan Al-Mashani School-Lyceum No. 92 as part of the 'Clean Kazakhstan' initiative. The event focused on fostering ecological awareness and integrating eco-friendly habits into daily life.

Participants highlighted the importance of youth initiatives and volunteer movements in the beautification and greening of the capital. Students asked questions and shared their views on environmental protection.

"This academic year begins in a remarkable way. At the August conference, the head of state set significant goals for us. Currently, under the 'Conscientious Citizen' program, we are educating children according to the principles of 'Law and Order' and 'Clean Kazakhstan,'" stated School Director Orazkul Zholdasbekova.

She added that students have been winning awards at city competitions on waste sorting and are involved in environmental projects like 'Green City,' where they grow agricultural products.

The meeting also featured Nurdaulet Mukhtarbek, the leader of the youth environmental movement 'Ambassadors of the Earth,' who spoke about the goals of the 'Clean Kazakhstan' initiative. He mentioned that this initiative is aimed not only at organizing clean-up events but also at developing ecological culture and awareness among people.

"I believe that such meetings should occur more frequently because cultivating environmental consciousness in the younger generation is a crucial task," he emphasized.

The main aim of the event was to enhance environmental responsibility among students and encourage active youth participation in community initiatives.
