Almaty Launches 'Almatygenplan' Contact Center for Residents' Inquiries

To enhance access to information about Almaty's General Plan and ensure direct communication with citizens, 'Almatygenplan' has launched a contact center. The main goal of this new communication format is to provide residents with clear and reliable information regarding the city's development and the provisions of the General Plan.

Residents will be able to contact the center to ask questions about the General Plan, request information on specific areas, and receive explanations on issues related to real estate and land documents.

"We understand that the General Plan is a complex urban planning document that touches on the entire city's development. After meeting with residents, we noticed that many concerns arise not because people oppose Almaty's development, but due to a lack of clear and reliable information on what exactly the General Plan entails," stated Askat Saduov, General Director of 'Almatygenplan.'

Askat Saduov also mentioned that social media contains a lot of unreliable information about the General Plan, causing additional worry among the residents.

"We believe it's important to create a direct and accessible communication channel where everyone can obtain information from an official source. Our task is to help residents understand the situation," he emphasized.

In parallel with the contact center's operations, explanatory meetings with residents, individual consultations, and other initiatives will be conducted to increase public awareness about the General Plan.
