Demolition of Illegal Extension at Asi Cafe in Almaty Underway

Demolition work is underway in Almaty to forcibly remove an illegally constructed extension to the Asi Cafe, located at 182 Tole bi Street. This was reported by the Urban Planning Control Department.

Previously, administrative measures were taken against the owner of the property, and the case was subsequently referred to the court for violation.

The Specialized Interdistrict Administrative Court imposed an administrative fine on the owner, along with an order for the forced demolition of the illegal extension. The owner appealed the decision; however, the Almaty City Court upheld the original ruling.

Currently, in compliance with the court's decision, demolition work on the extension has begun with the involvement of judicial officers from the Justice Department.
