Competition Announced in Almaty for Temporary Condominium Management Company

The State Institution 'Department of Communal Infrastructure and Housing Inspection of Almaty' has announced a competition to select a temporary management company for a condominium facility, which is a multi-apartment residential building located at: 9 Baitursynov Street, Almaty. The building comprises 38 apartments, with a total area of 4,000 m², of which the residential area is 2,040 m² and non-residential area is 1,960 m². The competition is being conducted according to the Regulations for the Appointment of a Temporary Management Company by the Housing Inspection for the Management of a Condominium Facility.

Basis for the Competition

The competition is being held following the decision of the housing inspection due to the apartment and non-residential space owners' failure to reach an agreement on the choice of management form or management entity for the condominium facility, or based on a request from the owners, formalized by a protocol of a general meeting.

Competition Subject

The determination of a temporary management company to manage the condominium facility until the apartment and non-residential space owners select a form of management in accordance with the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Requirements for Competition Participants

Management companies that meet the requirements of the Republic of Kazakhstan's legislation and provide the following documents are eligible to participate:

• application for participation in the competition;
• copies of the founding documents;
• documents confirming the legal entity's state registration;
• documents confirming the authority of the director (representative);
• information about the absence of tax debts and other obligatory payments to the budget;
• information about meeting qualification requirements;
• documents confirming experience in managing condominium facilities;

Application Submission Period and Location

Applications are accepted within 10 (ten) working days from the publication date of this announcement.

Winner Determination Procedure

The competition committee reviews the submitted applications within 5 (five) working days after the application deadline.

The winner of the competition will be the management company that meets the established requirements and has the most experience in managing condominium facilities.

Contract Conclusion

A standard contract is concluded between the Housing Inspection and the winning temporary management company. The temporary management company manages the condominium facility until the apartment and non-residential space owners select a form of management in accordance with the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Additional Information

If the competition is declared void due to lack of applications or the winner's avoidance of contract conclusion, the temporary management company will be determined according to the Regulations for the Appointment of a Temporary Management Company by the Housing Inspection for the Management of a Condominium Facility.
