Renovation work for 30 courtyard areas in Almaly District of Almaty has been completed. Beautification efforts continue at eight sites, according to the district akimat.
In 2026, plans include the renovation of 38 courtyards. The work will involve resurfacing, installing and updating playgrounds, sports facilities, benches, bins, and other amenities.
Additionally, under the 'Public Participation Budget' project, 19 resident-led initiatives are being implemented in the district. Five projects have already been completed, construction is ongoing at eight sites, and implementation is set to begin for five more.
