Natural gas has been launched in the village of Poltavka, Aktobe region, benefiting 99 households and improving living conditions.

In the village of Poltavka, which is part of the Baytorysay rural district of the Martuk district in Aktobe region, the launch of natural gas took place. The settlement has 99 households, where 316 people reside.

The solemn ceremony was attended by the deputy akim of Aktobe region Asylbek Yesenbayev, the akim of Martuk district Medet Iskakov, the head of the regional energy and housing and communal services department Arysulan Aitbayev, as well as the villagers.

"Today we see the results of the implementation of the President's directive to provide rural settlements with modern infrastructure. Connecting the village of Poltavka to natural gas is a result of state policy aimed at improving the quality of life of the population and creating comfortable living conditions. The work on gasification of the region will continue systematically,"

— noted the deputy akim of the region Asylbek Yesenbayev.

As of today, the gasification level of the population in Aktobe region has reached 97.5%. In the past year, 31 settlements with a total population of over 13 thousand people were connected to natural gas. This year, it is planned to provide blue fuel to another 8 villages, where 3.7 thousand people live. So far, 5 settlements with a total population of 2,126 people have already received access to natural gas.

The total cost of the gasification project for the village of Poltavka amounted to 581.4 million tenge. The project was implemented by the LLP "GazMart". As part of the construction, a gas pipeline of 6.4 kilometers in length was laid, and all necessary engineering infrastructure was fully created.
