Comprehensive Approach to Resolving the Issue of Unsafe Housing in Saryozek, Zhetisu Region
Saryozek in Zhetisu region addresses unsafe housing with new apartments and individual houses for residents.

In the Kerbulak district of the Zhetisu region, comprehensive measures are being implemented to tackle the pressing issue of unsafe housing, focusing on a systematic solution to the housing problem. Since the establishment of the region, residents of unsafe housing in the district center, the village of Saryozek, have been offered 120 new apartments, and construction of another 60-apartment building is nearing completion, reports the press office of the akim of the Zhetisu region.
The old houses along Ryskulov and Al-Farabi streets in Saryozek, built in the 1960-1970s and housing 240 families, were declared unsafe. Systematic work to provide residents of these houses with housing has been ongoing, leading up to 2024.
- In 2024, a 60-apartment residential building was commissioned for residents of unsafe houses. Recently, keys were handed over for apartments in a new 60-apartment building. By the end of the year, the construction of another 60-apartment building will be completed. Thus, we can say that we have fully resolved the problem of unsafe housing in Saryozek, - said the akim of the region, B. Isabayev.
Additionally, 127 individual houses purchased will be provided to those in line, with 80 already handed over. There are also 157 individual houses under construction for socially vulnerable groups. Construction work will be finalized this year, and the houses will be handed over to waiting families next year.
