PREPARATIONS FOR THE HEATING SEASON WERE CHECKED IN KYZYLORDA
Governor Murad Yergeshbayev checks preparations for the heating season in Kyzylorda, ensuring stable energy supply for residents.
Today, the governor of the region, Murad Yergeshbayev, got acquainted with the work of the new thermal power center built in the city of Kyzylorda with the direct support of the Head of State. The construction of the center, which produces 240 megawatts of electricity and 277 gigacalories of thermal energy, was financed by the Turkish company "AksaEnergy" with an investment of 215 billion tenge.
As part of the project, 2 gas turbine units with a capacity of 176 MW, 1 steam turbine with a capacity of 95 MW, 2 steam boilers with a capacity of 120 tons/hour, and 4 thermal boilers with a capacity of 150 Gcal/hour were installed.
Currently, the thermal center is fully operational, producing 240 megawatts of electricity, and 4 water heating boilers with a capacity of 150 MW have also been connected.
In the upcoming heating season, the residents of the city of Kyzylorda will be provided with heat through the new station.
After that, the governor visited "Kyzylordazhylu-elektr ortalygy". Currently, 85% of the sources of thermal energy here, as well as 40% of the thermal networks, are worn out. The station produces 67 megawatts of electricity and 355 gigacalories of thermal energy.
A total of 5.5 billion tenge is planned to be allocated for the preparation for the upcoming heating season. These funds will be used to complete the modernization project of 8.7 kilometers of thermal networks as well as for the capital repair of gas turbine units No. 1 and No. 2. In addition, 1.3 kilometers of the thermal network, 1 boiler, 1 turbine, 10 autonomous boilers, and main and auxiliary equipment will be repaired.
The governor also visited the institution "Kyzylorda electricity distribution networks". It supervises 10,608 kilometers of electricity networks and 2,058 substations, and the total capacity of transformers is 1,350 megawatts.
Following the visit to the facilities ensuring the normal life of the population, instructions were given to responsible leaders. They must prepare timely and efficiently for the upcoming heating season and ensure a stable supply of electricity to consumers.
