Media Training as part of the National Project "MEX" took place in Shymkent
Media training on the national project 'MEX' held in Shymkent focused on energy and utilities modernization, fostering collaboration between government and media.

A media training dedicated to the information support of the national project "Modernization of the Energy and Utilities Sectors" was held in Shymkent. Representatives of central government agencies, the quasi-public sector, natural monopoly entities, and mass media participated in the event.
The purpose of the media training was to clarify the ongoing work on the modernization of the energy and utilities sectors, strengthen interaction between industry organizations and the media, and discuss issues of the implementation of the national project.
The event was opened by the Deputy Chairman of the Committee for Regulation of Natural Monopolies of the Ministry of National Economy of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Nurlan Bolatbaev, who elaborated on the key areas being implemented within the framework of the national project.
The Deputy Chairman of the Committee for Construction and Housing and Communal Services of the Ministry of Industry and Construction of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Nursultan Keremkulov, also participated in the media training, presenting a report on the modernization of communal infrastructure and the implementation of regional projects.
Among the speakers were the Deputy Chairman of the Committee for State Energy Supervision and Control of the Ministry of Energy of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Ernar Khasenov, Managing Director of the National Investment Holding Company "Baiterek," Ruslan Tyulegenov, and the Deputy Chairman of the Board of the "Kazakhstan Center for Modernization and Development of Housing and Utilities" JSC, Bagdat Azbaev.
During the panel discussion, issues regarding the implementation of the MEX project in the regions, mechanisms for modernizing communal infrastructure, and challenges facing natural monopoly entities were discussed. Media representatives received answers to their questions from specialized experts.
At the end of the event, participants emphasized the importance of informational work on the modernization of the energy and utilities sectors, as well as the need for effective interaction between government agencies and mass media.
