Kerbulak District Completely Gazified: Access to Natural Gas Received by 33,300 Residents of the District
Kerbulak District is fully gazified, granting 33,300 residents access to natural gas across 26 settlements.

Kerbulak District is completely gazified: access to natural gas has been received by 33,300 residents of the district. In the Zhetysu region, ten more rural settlements in the Kerbulak District have gained access to blue fuel. Now all 26 settlements of the district included in the regional gasification program are gasified, and 33,300 residents have gained access to natural gas, — reports the press service of the akim of Zhetysu region.
During the first phase of the gasification project in Kerbulak District, natural gas was brought to 16 settlements of the district. At that time, 374 km of gas networks were constructed, and over 25,000 residents gained the opportunity to connect to centralized gas supply. During the second phase, 238 km of gas distribution networks were built. As a result, access to gas was received by 7,900 residents of the villages of Baigazy, Altynemel, Tastybastau, Akbastau, Dolanaly, Zhaynak batyr, Zhanalyk, Shagan, Tastyzek, and Kogaly. Thus, access to natural gas has been granted to all 33,300 residents of the 26 settlements of the Kerbulak District included in the regional gasification program, — noted the deputy head of the regional energy and housing and communal services department Azamat Beisbayev.
Meanwhile, work on the gasification of the district will continue. Project documentation has already been developed for the gasification of six more settlements that were previously not included in the regional scheme. In 2027, the construction of gas networks is planned to begin in the villages of Sarybastau, Karashoky, Arkarly, Samen, Shilishsu (farm), and Malaisary.
Congratulating his fellow villagers, the native of the village of Kogaly, the deputy director of the IT department of JSC "QAZAQGAZ AIMAQ" Damir Ghulamov noted that the gasification process for consumers has become much easier. It simplifies access to the service for villagers. For submitting monthly readings, it is enough to photograph the meter via the "QAZAQGAZ AIMAQ" application: the built-in artificial intelligence will recognize the numbers by itself and send the data to the system.
The director of the Zhetysu production branch of "QAZAQGAZ AIMAQ" Nurzhan Tyumbaev paid special attention to the issues of the safe use of natural gas, and residents were given informational leaflets with the main rules for the safe operation of gas.
On behalf of the local residents, the chairman of the Council of Elders of the Kogalinsky rural district, a resident of the village of Kogaly, Serik Turbekov, spoke. — Due to the climate characteristics, the heating season in our village traditionally stretched over many months. With the arrival of gas, we will forever get rid of the exhausting coal stocking and the daily firing of stoves. I express my gratitude to everyone involved for the huge and useful work done, and I wish my fellow villagers comfort and prosperity in every home. Peaceful skies and prosperity to the entire republic, — he concluded.
It is important to note that at the time of the formation of the Zhetysu region, only 5 settlements were gasified. As of today, the level of gasification in the region is already 67.2%. Work is currently underway to gasify 16 settlements, including 12 settlements in the Panfilov District, 3 in the Karatal District, and 1 in the Esikeldin District. The works are planned to be completed by the end of the current year.
As a result of the implementation of these projects, the level of gasification in the Zhetysu region will amount to 126 settlements (72%) with a population of over 500,000 residents, reports ZHKH24 citing the website of the Energy and Housing and Communal Services Department of Zhetysu region.
