Gasification in Aktobe Region Reduced Demand for Coal
Gasification in the Aktobe region is reducing coal demand as more settlements gain access to natural gas, benefiting residents and budget organizations.

Active gasification of settlements in Aktobe region has a positive impact on the fuel balance of the region. Compared to last year, the need for solid fuel from budget organizations and the population has decreased.
According to the head of the energy and housing and communal services department, Aryslan Aitbaev, thanks to the implementation of gasification projects, residential houses and social facilities are gradually connected to natural gas. As a result, the demand for coal decreases annually. In 2025, 31 villages gained access to natural gas, and since the beginning of the current year, an additional 6 settlements have been connected.
