BY THE END OF THE YEAR, THE LEVEL OF GASIFICATION IN THE REGION WILL REACH 85%
By the end of the year, gasification level in Kyzylorda region will reach 85%, enhancing utility services for residents.

In the Kyzylorda region, work is being carried out gradually to provide the population with quality utility services. This year, a number of infrastructure projects in the field of drinking water, gas, electricity, and heating supply are being implemented in the region, with the modernization of engineering networks as a priority. This was announced at a press conference at the Regional Communications Service by the acting head of the Department of Energy and Housing and Communal Services of the Kyzylorda region, Baurzhan Izmagambetov.
According to the speaker, as of today, 4 cities and 222 rural settlements in the region are fully provided with centralized drinking water. Currently, 7 projects on drinking water supply and sewage are being implemented. As a result, it is planned to reduce the wear of water supply networks from 33% to 31%, and sewage networks from 32% to 30%. In addition, the construction of two branches of the Aral-Sarybulak group water pipeline continues, which will provide drinking water to more than 160 thousand residents of the Aral and Kazalinsky districts. Intensive work is also underway in the direction of gasification.

- Currently, all cities in the region are connected to natural gas. If the number of gasified rural settlements reaches 56, it is planned to connect another 10 settlements to gas by the end of the year. As a result, the level of gasification in the region will be raised to 85%. As part of the modernization of the electricity supply system, the reconstruction of 605 km of overhead lines and 190 substations is being carried out this year. These works will allow reducing the wear of electrical networks from 60% to 59%. In addition, five-day power plants with a total capacity of 148 megawatts operate steadily in the region. In the future, the construction of one wind and five solar power plants with a total capacity of 234 megawatts is planned. Preparations for the heating season are also proceeding according to plan. Work continues on the modernization of heating networks, repair of pumping stations, gas turbine installations, boiler houses, and turbines. Currently, the completion of repair work stands at 68%. Also under control are the works on the formation of the necessary fuel reserve for the upcoming heating season. To date, more than 8 thousand tons of coal have been delivered to the region, and additional reserves of 12 thousand tons of coal have been created in warehouses. The Kyzylorda TPP has fully secured normative reserves of fuel oil and diesel fuel. The work on modernizing the municipal infrastructure in the region will continue, with priority given to providing the population with quality and stable utility services," said Baurzhan Nurlanovich.
