World Cleanup Day Unites 50,000 Participants in Zhetisu Region
World Cleanup Day in Zhetisu region engaged 50,000 participants, leading to the planting of 9,500 saplings and collection of 3,000 tons of waste. Akim Beybit Isabayev emphasizes community involvement.

In Zhetisu region, several environmental campaigns were conducted as part of the national program 'Taza Qazaqstan' to mark World Cleanup Day, gathering around 50,000 participants. The activities resulted in the planting of 9,500 saplings and the collection of 3,000 tons of waste.
Akim of the region, Beybit Isabayev, participated in the tree planting and sanitation activities at the 'Zhastar' park in Taldykorgan, highlighting the active involvement of government agency representatives, various organizations and enterprises, public associations, entrepreneurs, youth, and volunteers. During the cleanup, the park was tidied, and 100 deciduous trees were planted. In total, 1,000 saplings were planted in Taldykorgan on this day.
"Within the framework of the 'Taza Qazaqstan' program, initiated by the Head of State, we are actively working on greening and arranging settlements. For two years now, we have not only been planting trees but also improving the 'Zhastar', 'Zhenis', 'Ardagerler' parks and the Karatal river embankment, reconstructing the irrigation system. We are tidying up parks and squares in rural settlements in every district of the region. The 'Taza Qazaqstan' program is not just about environmental cleanliness and park landscaping but also about spiritual cleansing and awakening human consciousness. We always support the teams and residents who actively participate in cleaning their yards and cities. This is an important part of societal renewal," said Akim of the region Beybit Isabayev.

Young participants of the campaign also shared their opinions.
"The more trees, the cleaner the air, which is why I find it important to participate in such events. Planting trees, taking care of them, and maintaining cleanliness start with oneself; it all depends on each one's contribution. If the surroundings are green and clean, it brings inner peace. As they say, a clean city starts with you. Therefore, I urge everyone to treat the environment and our native nature with care. Let's make our Taldykorgan green and blooming," declared young ecovolunteer Ayazhan Nurakhmetova.
Resident of Taldykorgan, Zhanar Bolatkzy, agreed:
"It's heartening to see young people actively participating in our eco-campaigns. Together, we're improving urban areas. For us, this is not just a cleanup, but a way to contribute to improving the environmental situation of our beloved Taldykorgan. If everyone maintains cleanliness, the city will be significantly cleaner and more comfortable," she noted, encouraging her fellow citizens to actively participate in cleanups and ecological initiatives.
Since the beginning of the year in Zhetisu region, under environmental conservation efforts and the promotion of ecological culture, 181 events have been organized, with over 180,000 participants involved. As a result, 68,000 saplings have been planted, and 15,000 tons of waste have been removed.
