In Astana, an environmental campaign took place at Industrial Park No. 1 as part of the 'Taza Qazaqstan' initiative, gathering more than 700 participants.

Employees from the Astana Invest City Investment Development Center and representatives from various production companies in the city participated in the event.

"Today at Industrial Park No. 1, we are conducting a large-scale tree planting and sanitary cleaning of adjacent areas and public spaces as part of the 'Taza Qazaqstan' initiative. This week, approximately 800 trees have been planted. Today, the Astana Invest team — around 100 people — is also taking part in the planting. Furthermore, park investors are engaged in the sanitary cleaning of areas near their facilities. In total, the event involves over 700 participants," stated Sabit Mukhamedzhanuly, Deputy Chairman of the Board of Astana Invest.

Following the recommendations of agronomists from Astana-Zelenstroy LLP, two types of trees have been selected for planting.

"We have chosen elm and poplar for planting. These trees are more resilient to the local climate and thrive well since this was a marshland area previously. Other types of trees struggle to take root here. The saplings were brought in from a nursery, each standing at least 3 meters tall. This initiative will be held annually," explained Sabit Mukhamedzhanuly.

According to him, in anticipation of World Cleanup Day, a relevant appeal was sent to all investors in the park. The 'Taza Qazaqstan' initiative unites residents with a common goal — to make the city clean, beautiful, and comfortable. Such efforts not only enhance the urban environment but also foster cooperation between businesses and government entities.
