Eco-Action to Clean Public Spaces Held in Almaty District of Astana

Residents of Astana's Almaty District participated in an eco-action aimed at cleaning public spaces. As part of the nationwide initiative 'Taza Kazakhstan' and World Cleanup Day, a large-scale environmental campaign took place in the Almaty District of the capital. Active local residents, veterans' council representatives, and employees from government bodies and organizations took part, as reported by the official website of the Akimat of Astana.

Participants engaged in sanitary cleaning, beautification, and greening of public areas.

The action took place at various locations within Almaty District, including K. Ryskulbekov Street, B. Mailin Street, A. Petrov Street, Abylai Khan Avenue, and Triathlon Park.

As part of the environmental initiative, around 350 trees were planted across the district. Participants also tidied up public spaces, parks, squares, and courtyards.

Such environmental events contribute to increasing green zones, improving the urban environment, and fostering a culture of environmental responsibility.

It is worth noting that on September 19, a citywide eco-action is being held across all districts of the capital in honor of World Cleanup Day.
