51 Families in Taldykorgan Receive Keys to New Homes

In Taldykorgan, 51 families from socially vulnerable groups have received keys to their new homes. The governor of Zhetisu region, Beibut Isabayev, congratulated the new homeowners, as reported by the press service of the Zhetisu regional governor.

The regional head emphasized that providing citizens with affordable housing is a priority area of state policy. The goal of this policy is to improve the quality of life and social wellbeing of the population.

• In line with the President's directive, the region has been steadily increasing the pace of housing construction. Since the beginning of this year alone, 49,000 square meters of housing have been put into operation in Taldykorgan, which is 3.4% more than the same period last year. Step by step, by the end of the year, we plan to provide affordable housing for more than 1,400 families from Taldykorgan, - said B. Isabayev.

The new housing was provided to those on the waiting list as part of state support measures. The recipients include large and single-parent families, orphans, children without parental care, and people with disabilities in categories I and II.

The happy new residents shared their experiences:

• Today is a big and joyful day for us. Our family is celebrating a housewarming, we've received keys to a new home in the Zhasstar-3 district. I waited in line for almost 9 years and am raising six children, five of whom are school-aged, - noted Dinara Otarbayeva.

• I've been on the waiting list since 2017. It's hard to put my joy into words. First thing, I will take my kids and show them their own home. Now they'll have their own rooms, and we'll live comfortably and freely. We've been renting for so long, it was very difficult. Now we have our own house and roof over our heads. I'm sincerely grateful for the support, - says Dana Zhamanaeva.

• We waited for 10 years. During that time, we faced many challenges, moving from one rented apartment to another. With children, it's especially tough. Now all that's behind us. Our young family now has its own home in a new district, and this is a great joy, - said Torgyn Toyshibekova, who received an apartment in the Qulager district.

It's worth noting that, shortly, Taldykorgan plans to commission two credit houses with 170 apartments in the Birlik district. By the end of the year, construction will also be completed and five five-story buildings with 200 apartments in the Yntymak residential area will be put into operation.

Furthermore, over the past 4 years, 1.4 million square meters of housing have been commissioned in the Zhetisu region, with around 11,000 families celebrating their housewarming.
