Kazakhstan Adopts Law Amending the Construction Code
Kazakhstan enacts amendments to the Construction Code, focusing on digitalization and expert reviews in urban development activities.
On July 14, 2026, Kazakhstan enacted Law No. 350-VIII, introducing amendments to the Construction Code initially approved on January 9, 2026, as No. 253-VIII.
On August 25, 2026, the changes to the text of the Construction Code of Kazakhstan were reflected in the legal information system 'Әділет'. These amendments have been added to the official history of changes to the regulatory legal act.
The amendments include changes to Articles 61, 98, 99, and 105 of the Code, which concern the digitalization of urban development activities, the development of design and estimate documentation, and the conduct of comprehensive external expert reviews of construction projects.
