As part of the nationwide 'Clean Kazakhstan' campaign, a tree planting event took place at the 'Sharapat' Social Services Center in the capital, according to the official website of the Astana Akimat.

Environmental advocates, representatives of public funds, beneficiaries of the center, and other participants joined in the effort.

The organizers of the campaign believe that regular tree planting contributes to the city's prosperity and greening, improves the environmental situation, and lays the foundation for building a 'Clean Kazakhstan.'

"Recently, an International Environmental Conference was held. Environmentalists and scientists from various countries gathered. Leading experts in this field shared their experiences. As a result, about 100 seedlings were planted during this meeting. The tree planting process will continue at a rapid pace in the fall and spring. The main goal is to contribute to improving the environmental situation," noted Nurdaulet Mukhtarbek, Deputy Chairman of the 'Sustainable Development Land Fund.'
