Around 200 kg of Recyclables Collected in Almaty Eco-Action
An eco-action in Almaty collected around 200 kg of recyclables, promoting waste separation and recycling awareness among participants.

An eco-action dedicated to waste separation took place in the Almaly district of Almaty, where participants collected approximately 200 kg of recyclables. This was reported by LLP 'Eco Almaty'.
At the Lake Town residential complex, they accepted plastic caps and bottles, paper, polyethylene, glass containers, aluminum cans, batteries, as well as mercury-containing waste such as lamps.
One of the most popular areas of the event was the bike shredders, which allowed participants to personally shred plastic caps and observe one of the stages in preparing plastic for reuse.
The event was organized by the environmental community ECO Network, which focuses on promoting the culture of waste segregation and ecological education. The collected recyclables will be sent for further processing. Recycled plastic is used to make keychains, stands, interior items, furniture, and even art objects.

In Astana, Bank Employees Plant Over 100 Trees at Two Schools as Part of 'Clean Kazakhstan' Initiative
Eurasian Bank employees plant over 100 trees at two Astana schools as part of the 'Clean Kazakhstan' initiative, fostering environmental care among youth.

In Astana, employees of the Eurasian Bank, in collaboration with the Astana City Department for Investment and Entrepreneurship Development, carried out a greening campaign at two urban comfort schools, No. 118 and No. 107, planting over 100 trees. This event was part of the nationwide environmental initiative 'Clean Kazakhstan'.
The campaign also saw participation from representatives of educational institutions and the youth environmental movement 'Zher elshileri'. At school No. 118, they planted 50 apple trees. The school's director, Laura Balabaeva, emphasized that such initiatives help foster a sense of care for nature among the younger generation.
"Taking care of nature and keeping the environment clean is an expression of love for one's country and a sign of high civic culture. Our wise people have always considered tree planting a noble and virtuous act. There's a saying: 'Let a tree remain rather than wealth from ancestors,'" she noted.
According to Asiya Kuldybayeva, the director of the Astana branch of the Eurasian Bank, the joint efforts by participants laid the foundation for a new green alley at the school. She thanked everyone who supported the initiative and expressed hope that the planted trees would take root and eventually grow into a shady walkway.
The Eurasian Bank emphasized that participating in environmental projects is one area of their social activity. Asiya Kuldybayeva added that special attention was paid to greening school territories during the campaign, as it's crucial to instill a responsible attitude towards the environment from an early age.
"This year, we decided to plant over 100 trees on school grounds, including those of new educational institutions. We believe that love for one's country, care for the environment, and the desire to see our city beautiful begin in childhood. I think this is one of the important aspects of today's event," noted Asiya Kuldybayeva.
