Students and Teachers Join 'Taza Kazakhstan' Environmental Campaign in Astana
Students and teachers participated in the 'Taza Kazakhstan' campaign, beautifying Astana's Baykonyr district by cleaning and enhancing public spaces.

As part of the nationwide 'Taza Kazakhstan' environmental campaign, an urban beautification and greening event took place in the Baykonyr district of the capital, reports the official website of the Astana Akimat.
The event was held on Kenesary Street, near buildings No. 62 and No. 64. Participants included students from the Higher College of Kazpotrebsoyuz, teachers from school No. 16, representatives from the 'Aul' party, and employees of the Baykonyr district akimat.
During the event, participants cleaned the surrounding area of litter, tended to the soil around the trees, and carried out beautification work.
"During the campaign, students and teachers arranged the soil around the planted trees, contributing to the cleanliness of the environment and the beautification of the city," shared Akereke Myrzalieva, Deputy Director for Educational Work at the Higher College of Kazpotrebsoyuz.

She emphasized that such events carry both ecological and educational significance.
"These campaigns are not just about cleaning up areas, but also serve as an important educational ground, fostering environmental awareness, industriousness, responsibility, and care for our native city among the youth. Cleanliness starts with each of us. Maintaining order in the environment, taking care of public spaces, and contributing to the city's beautification is our collective responsibility," noted Akereke Myrzalieva.
The 'Taza Kazakhstan' environmental campaigns aim to maintain cleanliness and order, enhance urban greenery, and boost the environmental awareness of the capital's residents.
