5 billion tenge of returned assets allocated for water pipeline construction in Aktobe region

5 billion tenge of returned assets are allocated for the construction of a group water pipeline from the Sarybulak underground water field in the Aktobe region.

As part of the implementation of the President's instructions on the return of illegally exported assets abroad, the Government continues to finance socially important projects in the regions. The project aims to ensure water supply to the neighborhoods of Batyss-1, Batyss-2, and Batyss-3 in the city of Aktobe.

The Sarybulak field is located 56 km from the regional center. Within the framework of the project, 20 artesian wells will be drilled and equipped, a group water pipeline will be built, and networks will be connected to residential areas. Construction work will begin as early as this year.

After the facility is put into operation, the additional water supply capacity will reach up to 70,000 m³ per day. This will ensure a reliable water supply for the residents of the city of Aktobe, as well as the regions of Alga and Mughalzhar. The explored reserves of the Sarybulak field are sufficient for stable water supply to the region for the next 30 years.

From 2024 to 2026, funding of more than 500 social projects totaling 610 billion tenge has been approved by the Government using resources from the Special State Fund. The majority of these projects have been commissioned. Of the total 267 projects amounting to 226.5 billion tenge are aimed at developing water infrastructure.
