These events were organized as part of informational activities about President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev's Address "Kazakhstan's Current Tasks in a New Historical Cycle" dated October 28, 2026, and took place across all city districts.

The discussions at the meetings focused on infrastructure modernization, social support, and the quality of life for citizens. Attention was given to the use of National Fund resources, raising the minimum wage, and accelerating the construction of social facilities.

Residents' Opinions Will Be Considered

A meeting was held at the Social Services House involving social protection representatives, Kurultai deputy Aidos Sarym, Deputy Minister of Labor Erbol Tuyakbayev, Kazakhstan People's Council member Aigul Saduakasova, and Head of Employment Department in Almaty Bauyrzhan Zhaubasov.

The working group also met with education and healthcare representatives, as well as residents of the Bostandyk and Medeu districts.

During the meetings, the main points of the Address, aims, and objectives were explained. Representatives from various fields shared their opinions and proposals on pressing issues.

Kazakhstan People's Council member Aigul Saduakasova highlighted issues concerning educators, emphasizing their role in clarifying the President's initiatives.

"Educators shared their wishes, suggestions, and raised questions about educating children with special needs. The President emphasized the necessity for inclusive development centers," said Aigul Saduakasova.

The second working group, which included Kurultai deputy Sergey Ponomarev, Kazakhstan People's Council member Meirzhan Otynshiyev, Deputy Minister of Finance Asset Turysov, Public Council member Askat Kabashev, and Director of the Entrepreneurs' Chamber Shyngyskhan Mamanov, met with residents of the Almaly, Auezov, and Zhetysu districts.

"Major transformations are underway. The Head of State has tasked the modernization of infrastructure. The National Fund will allocate 6.5 trillion tenge by 2029. This is an investment in human capital and quality of life. Kazakhstan will build 70 healthcare facilities and about 50 educational, sports, and cultural facilities," announced Sergey Ponomarev.

Income Increase and Social Infrastructure Development

Kazakhstan People's Council member Meirzhan Otynshiyev noted issues of social policy and healthcare. From January 1, 2027, the minimum wage will increase from 85,000 to 110,000 tenge, positively affecting the income of 1.8 million citizens.

"The President outlined plans for the construction of medical facilities. The construction of an oncology center has begun in Almaty. It is also important to create an accessible environment for children with special needs," noted Meirzhan Otynshiyev.

Special Focus on the Real Economy Sector

The third working group, consisting of deputy Aizhan Skakova, Deputy Minister of Energy Kayirhan Tutkyshbayev, Deputy Minister of Industry Kuandyk Kzhenov, and Head of the Public Council Nurzhan Zhakypov, held meetings in the Alatau, Nauryzbai, and Turksib districts.
