Yrlan Akkenzhenov and Julie Stufft Discuss Kazakhstan-US Energy Cooperation in Almaty

Minister of Energy, Yerlan Akkenzhenov, held a meeting with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the United States to Kazakhstan, Julie Stufft.

During the meeting, there was an exchange of views on key issues concerning Kazakhstan-US collaboration in the energy sector. Both parties emphasized their interest in further developing the strategic energy partnership and expanding mutually beneficial cooperation.

Particular attention was paid to regional energy security issues, the reliability of export routes, and the sustainable supply of global energy markets.

At the conclusion of the meeting, the parties confirmed their readiness to continue constructive dialogue within the framework of the Strategic Energy Partnership and to facilitate investment attraction and the implementation of promising joint projects in the energy sector.
