New Recreation Area Developed in Turksib District of Almaty

A new sports and leisure area has been developed on Palladina Street in the Turksib District of Almaty.

The public space was created as part of the 'Participatory Budget' program. The area features children's playgrounds, a workout zone, and has been equipped with a safety surface. Pergolas and benches have been provided for the convenience of residents.

Pedestrian paths have also been improved, lighting has been installed, and the area has been landscaped with an automatic irrigation system.

According to the Turksib District Akimat, the new recreation area has become a popular gathering place for locals. This year, 24 projects are being implemented in the Turksib District under the 'Participatory Budget' program, including parks, pedestrian zones, leisure facilities, and projects to install automatic irrigation systems.
