Facades of 7 Apartment Buildings in Usharal, Zhetysu Region to be Renovated

In the Zhetysu Region, as part of the 'Clean Kazakhstan' program, measures are being implemented to improve populated areas, with a focus on rural locations. This was revealed during a meeting between the regional akim, Beybit Isabayev, and residents of the Alakol District.

  • Within the national 'Clean Kazakhstan' program, the Zhetysu Region undertakes repairs of roofs and facades of apartment buildings, and carries out significant projects for the construction of children's and sports playgrounds, as well as improving public spaces. However, the facades of 7 apartment buildings at the entrance to the city of Usharal are in unsatisfactory condition. In light of this, I instruct the district akim to submit a budget request for the next year to renovate the facades and establish children's playgrounds, — noted Beybit Isabayev, giving several corresponding directives.

Meanwhile, beautification efforts in the Alakol District continue under the 'Clean Kazakhstan' program. New sports facilities and recreational areas have been established in villages: in Sapak, a workout area was equipped; in Beskol and Bulakty, sports grounds were installed; and in Ekpindi, a park is being landscaped. Additionally, in Usharal, with savings from the budget, a new alley and the first stage of an ethnopark have been completed. As part of the greening efforts, 9,564 trees have been planted to date, including 8,195 deciduous and 1,369 coniferous trees. Street lighting has been extended to 75%: out of 470 streets in the district, 350 are illuminated. This year, 465 additional streetlights have been installed in five villages, including Tokzhaylau, Kolybay, Terekty, Kyzylyshe, and Akzhar.

Shymkent Expands Affordable Housing Options for Citizens

In Shymkent, efforts to provide citizens with affordable housing are ongoing. An additional 30 families have received keys to apartments in new residential buildings. The key handover ceremony was attended by the city's mayor, Gabit Syzdykbekov.

The apartments are located in the districts of Akzhaik, Bozaryk, and Asar-2. These houses have been commissioned, are connected to necessary utilities, and meet established construction standards.

Eligible for these housing options are citizens who have demonstrated financial solvency. Among them are individuals with disabilities, large families, single-parent families, and employees of state-funded organizations.

It's worth noting that providing apartments under preferential conditions offers additional opportunities for city residents to address their housing needs. The Shymkent city administration will continue its efforts to develop housing stock and increase housing accessibility.
